Overview
Skinauth is a full stack platform for verifying skincare product authenticity in Nigeria. Users can scan barcodes, check NAFDAC registration, browse a verified marketplace, and book consultations with estheticians.
Problem
Counterfeit and unverified skincare products pose real health risks. Consumers lack a trusted way to verify products before purchase, and brands need a channel to prove authenticity.
Solution
Built a responsive web app with product verification flows, a verified marketplace, expert booking, and mobile optimised scanning. Trust signals (NAFDAC badges, batch integrity, barcode lookup) are central to the UX.
